This is my current ride

I've been getting more and more into detailing over the last couple years, going from OTC products to more high end such as adams, chemical guys, etc

these are just some random shots of some of the stuff I have, still havent burnt through some of the old TW junk I have

I'm looking to start my own detailing part time in a couple months when I've got some more time

I have a ton of questions and really appreciate all feedback and input

Biggest question on my mind at the moment.... what DA should I get? Right now I'm between griots garage and the PC, several people from moddedmustangs say that the GG is better, but the PC is so well known and seems to be the most popular entry level polisher, I personally have no experience past hand polishing :(

also what polishes? I really want to try the v34 v36 v38 line from CG, I already have v34 (gf got it for me for free with the order she placed for me, relationships do have their benefits sometimes lol) Most people love the m105, m205 line?

also.. water spots on my side view mirrors.. solution? I think CG has a good waterspot remover?

get the m105 and m205 combo. its the cheapest and great stuff. GG polisher is better than the pc and got a lifetime warranty.

Do i need a final polish after the 205? I know some people use one of the menzernas? the PC is only 3 years iirc?

Sonic Blue is one of my all time favorite ford colors. Nice Stang.

GG all the way. 105/205 is a fav of most, but I prefer Menzerna as it doesn't dust although 105 is good to have on hand if SIP can't cut it. SIP,power finish and final finish are my sweeties. I always use the 5.5" and 3" LC CCS pads. Orange, white, green, black and red(for wax) are must haves.

thanks, I see you've got a mystic, I love the color but couldnt imagine keeping that color in good/great shape as a DD, what mods do you have done to it

what is SIP?

Yeah it seems like I'll have to go with the GG, why do you use the LC ccs pads? they just seem to work best for you?

I thought 105/205 didnt dust unless you were using too much of it?

Turtle wax Bug & Tar remover = worst product ever!!! I bought some of that when I started detailing then gave it away. I replaced it with poorboy's bug squash which I love.

There are some specific glass water spot removers at AG. I want to get some, but haven't yet. I've used vinegar and water, alcohol and water. It takes some elbow grease and a couple applications, but if they aren't etched in, it works. I've used a clay bar too.

how did the clay bar do for removing the water spots?

also how long does it take water spots to form?
