I am aware of the concept of using the
least aggressive method first and then working your way up the aggressive scale until you get the desired result when machine polishing. But lets say I start with some Menzerna Super Finish and a LC White pad. That didn't get me the result I was looking for so I decide to try Menzerna Power Finish, I still want to use a LC white pad. Do I need to switch pads for the new polish or is it ok to use the LC White pad with Power Finish even though the pad has some Super Finish Polish on it already.

I use the same one.... nothing wrong with it. I am sure a bunch of guys here will tell you to bust out a new pad, which is cool. Most of the time I use the same pad. Just don;'t do it the other way around (aka start with a compound and then put finer polish on the same pad).

I'd like to know myself, as I've just received 3 Menzerna products, one of which is Power Finish.

"not the other way around" good point.

Get a new pad...
you are cross-contaminating

Yes, you are mixing the 2 products, it'll confuse you.

You want to use a new pad to see exactly what is going on. You don't want to mix products.

Yellow and blue make green..........Not blue! ;)
