I'm having some trouble keeping my black rubber trim around the windows on my 2012 Focus clean. The regular plastic trim is fine, but the rubber trim keeps getting these UGLY water spots all over them.

I tried using an APC on them and then applying some trim protectant on them, but they keep coming back.

I was thinking of using the APC and then claying the trim and then trying something else on them to protect it.

Does anyone know of something I could use that would keep these from coming back. I'm at work right now so I can't take a picture, but if need be I can take one tonight.

Might have to try a variety of rubber and trim dressings to see if you can find one that works for your needs.

Maybe,

CarPro Perl?
303 Aerospace Protectant?
Black Wow?
Solution Finish?
Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel?
Mothers Back-To-Black Bumper & Trim Care?
Meguiars Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer?
Sonus Trim & Motor Kote?

There's a lot to choose from and most we care are listed here,

I would visit Ultima Tire and Trim Guard.
