After cleaning the interior with an apc or any cleaner is it recommended to wipe down again with water prior to use a protection like UIGP or 303.

I use a damp towel to wipe down after cleaning...

That's what I usually do. The panels might remain tacky if you don't remove the residue. Also it might interfere with your protectant bonding.

I also use a damp towel for a wipe down unless I am using the Optimum interior protectant which has some very mild cleaners in it that will remove any residue from OPC(my interior cleaner of choice)

If I use OPP I also don't bother wiping down with water if I used OPC/APC prior. If I use another dressing like Hyper Dressing it doesn't take much to spray a cloth and wipe down with water

A few gallons of OPC in stock and 0 BF APC in stock makes OPC my choice ;)

I fill a bucket with hot water for rinsing the terry towels I use on the inside after I spray down with 3:1 OPC.
