I have titanium white metallic paint that I want to seal, which one would suite me better? Thanks!

#20 has some cleaning ability if you need it. #21 is just a sealant.

was going to use Ultimate compound for few areas and ultimate Polish everywhere. I know 105 and 205 work better, but read UC and UP are good starters. What do you guys think? The car doesnt have DISO just fine swirl marks and some hard water spots under the spoiler from inappropriate washing at the dealer(they have a drive-thru car wash). Thanks!

Hi David,

Meguiar's Ultimate Compound is a really nice over the counter product. Use this with a Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher and a 5 1/2" Flat Orange foam pad and you will be impressed.

I'm not familiar with Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, is this something new?

Meguiar's SCRATCH X 2.0 is a nice polish to use after Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. I would say both are the over the counter equivalent of Meguiar's M105 and Meguiar's M205...

Meguiar's #21 is a synthetic sealant and will protect all that hard work you've just invested in making the finish flawless.....:props:

I use M21 on my daily driver and it couldn't be easier to use. Ultimate Quik wax is a great booster to it as well.

#21 is a joy to work with! goes on easy with the PC and it comes off easy with a nice microfiber. plus it smells GREAT too! but as soon as i bought the 64oz container of it, i started using duragloss 501/601 instead. oh well, maybe i will use the #21 eventually. haha

Ultimate compound and ultimate polish: good combo for sure. Just note the ultimate polish itself is really mild. It can only be used as a followup product, not even close to 205.

A better combo is Ultimate compound and swirl X 2.0(not scratch X 2.0) tho-

Good luck with water spots. they could be the most stubborn thing on your paint. Last time I tried to sand some water spots out, few gentle passes already sanded thru the clearcoat.

i can feel the water spots when going over them with my fingers. Crappy part is i can't get a machine where the water spots are, so i will have to press hard by hand.

Tried to get imperfections on the paint but with this color its hard. this is the only one i can see and its on the hood.
