Pad cleaning if no powder from AG-???

I currently do NOT have any pad cleaning powder from AG which I'm looking to get, but I detailed a car yesterday and am looking for advice on helping to get the compound, polish and wax residues from out of the pads--all are meg's pads.

I've gone the whole dish soap before but I notice it does leave a residue of it's own (as I knew). So I need an alternative until I get the powder. I have bothe meg's super degreaser and APC. Would those leave a residue as well? I'd rather not go the vinegar route, because it's a natural fabric softener. Curious as to what people recommend.

I would hit them with APC.

I used to hit every pad and work it in before I put them in the wash.
