Hi everyone! I'm looking at removing some scratches on my boss's '08 Silverado ( red in color ) on his tailgate. There's about a 5"x5" section of scratches. They aren't deep at all and disappear when water hits them. Looks almost like a scotch brite pad hit it. I think today I'll be buying a Flex DA and I'm looking for an awesome product and pads to basically 'buff' his whole tailgate and to also show him what difference it'll make on his whole truck. Thanks in advance!

What a nice thing to do...

For an out of the box, stock Flex 3401 get some 6.5" pads

6.5" Lake Country Flat Pads (http://www.autogeek.net/vcpad.html)

6.5" Lake Country CCS Pads (http://www.autogeek.net/lc-ccs-6inch-pads.html)

6.5" Lake Country Hydro-Tech Pads (http://www.autogeek.net/lc-hydro-tech-foam-pads.html)

Any premium, brand name compounds and polishes will work for removing fine or shallow scratches, consider

Pinnacle
Blackfire
Meguiar's
Optimum
Menzerna
Wolfgang

Sometime in the future add some adapter plates...
