Today I got a call from a State Farm agent who just bought a new Solstice, and wanted me to detail it for her. She said the dealership didn't do a very good job. Imagine that? The car is charcoal gray w/ black interior. It's very nice little car all except the wheels. They're very similar to the new tahoe wheels. I think they're some type of aluminum, and they don't shine very good. I would much rather have chrome. Anyway here's the process:

Exterior:
Rinse w/ PW
Apply Meg safe-d greaser to rims and tire via PW foam gun
Scrub w/ yellow shmitt
Rinse w/ PW
Apply soap mixture (hyper, apc, 4 and 1, H20) via PW foam gun
Clean w/ white shmitt
Rinse w/ PW
Spray tires w/ Armour Tire foam
Cali blade windows
Spray Fast clean and shine on car
Dry w/ Guzzler
Aquawax rims
Aquawax all glass and side mirrors
Max Wax entire car by hand
Remove w/ two MF one dry and one misted w/ Crystal Mist

Interior: new car (YES!)
Wipe door jams
Aquawax door jams
Stoner windows
MF dash and door panels
Aquawax chrome accent pieces
Max Wax painted accent pieces
Vacuumed w/ Rigid and brush attachment (best interior tool ever!)

CONCLUSION:

Once again I'm very impressed w/ both Max Wax and Aquawax. It was a pleasure doing this car after having to do so many SUV's lately. I almost felt bad taking the Mr. Franklin from her. Not really! She loved it and wants it clean at least every two weeks along w/ her white Range Rover.

Once again Bradley good job.
I want to detail one, I haven't had the chance yet. Did you put any protectant on the top. Like rag top, or 303

No not today, but I told her about it and see said maybe in a month or two. The top did produce good water beads though.

Great job! That car is very hot. Max Wax & Aqua Wax have become two of my favorite LSP's!

It's hard to beat MaxWax and #951, some of the best products out there. Great job, the car looks awesome. On another note, Pontiac has a winner with that car IMO.

I gotta put my .02 in about the car, if youve got 30k to spend for a little weekender, this and the Saturn version are knockouts. They truly bring the fun back into driving, just pop the roof and run them thru the gears. The Redline Saturn would be my pick on looks.

I agree. I think at a glance, the Sky has a Corvette-ish look to it, at least from the front.
