If your referring to Finishing Glaze it is not an actual glaze but a finishing polish.

You would not normally apply twice.

Technically using it twice could add more gloss by cutting further into the paint removing more of a defect if you did not use a more aggressive product first but if defects were removed with your medium or cutting polish then it would be a waste of time.

So, it's rare anyone would apply WG finishing glaze twice. I never would.

If you were going to polish again after WG FG I would use Menzerna 85RD instead of WG FG a second time.

Always do a test section first and see what you have under a variety of lights before you duplicate the effort on an entire car.

maybe it's the wrong word but "coats" implies you are leaving something on the surface.

Since WG finishing glaze is a polish, you want to work it (with a machine) let the fine abrasives do their thing, then remove it.

It does leave some oils behind, but they do nothing to protect or add much to the look of the paint.

Yeah unfortunately as Mike Phillips has wrote (sorry don't have the link offhand), the term "glaze" is used in all kinds of ways. Some of them don't match up to what the product really does. The WG finishing glaze as was mentioned really is actually a polish instead.

Its a great finishing polish ... I suppose some might use it with a different (less abrasive pad) but not sure you would note a huge difference.
