Good evening fellow AutoGeeks. Here's a few pics of today's job. My client emailed me a few months back that he had traded his Aston Martin DB9 for this Oh So Sexy coupe. This car was originally purchased by Lebron James and taken to Will Castro at Unique Auto Sports to have a few things done. I believe they did the wheels at Unique and I'm really not sure what else.

This morning was the first time I had seen this car though I did know the job was coming for some time. I really had no idea of what condition the car would be in so I loaded the mobile rig with a few things to cover whatever I would find upon arrival. I arrived at the client's place of business a little before he got in. I was surprised when he showed up in the Bentley because the car was just gorgeous and needed very little to nothing other than a good bath.

As soon as I hit it with a stream of water to pre-rinse it, I knew right away that this car has either Opti-Guard, Opti-Coat or C-Quartz on it. The water just danced around on the paint. The wheels took more time than the rest of the car did. This car came from out of Sarasota Florida so I wouldn't be surprised if another AGO member had been caring for this car before it made it's way up here to my client.

This particular client tells me that his eyes don't see the swirls on his cars (which aren't bad) so this was just a wash and meticulous detailing of the wheels. He keeps his interiors so clean that there is rarely a need for anything more than a light vacuuming. This was the case today so I show a pic of the interior as it came to me this morning and no after pic.

Here's how the car arrived to me this morning.

Thanks guys, Yeah I will be the only one working on this car. It's a garage queen but he does drive it from time to time. I get his daily driver too which is a really nice white Range Rover Sport.

I've actually seen a youtube video of LB in this car. I'll see if I can find it.

Awesome work Dave! Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks Jon, I have Opti-Coat on my car and the water did something extra special when I sprayed it on this Bentley so I figured it wasn't Opti-Coat but a coating of sorts. You've done a fantastic job at caring for this car down there. It was so easy for me to wash and definitely a bonus for the new owner.

I've actually seen a clip of him getting into it. I couldn't find it last night though. But yeah...I saw that one as well. Man I think its so cool that a car that was once down in Florida, taken care of one AG memeber, has made its way up to PA and then taken care of by another AG member...thats pretty damn cool.

That is one sweet ride! What a treat you'll be the regular caregiver for that fine automobile. I'm sure you're way ahead of me here, but you should offer to OC or CQ the wheels and the caliper emblems. Lol, I get a kick out of how Bentley fastens a plate emblem to the floating calipers. Hey, if your ride's going to sport some nice, smooth floaters, they may as well look classy and not sand casty, right?

I foresee that car putting a smile on your face and brightening your day every time she comes back :D

I think Jon Miles was way ahead of us on the wheels. As easy as they cleaned up they're coated for sure. Yes I was definitely in my element and enjoying my chosen career while working on this car. I just wish the DB9 didn't have to go.
