Would like to know what would be the best all around AIO choice for a beginner on a small budget.Preferably something available in quart size and bigger.
Would Meguiars Paint Reconditioning Cream D151 be a good choice?
What do you use?

My current go to is D151. Mostly because it has decent cut.

I do want to try Duragloss 501 though. For when I just need a cleaner.

It does have the ability to correct, depending on the paint and pad of course. A stronger all in one from Duragloss is #671 Swirl Mark Remover. I haven't dialed in a process with it but I think Richy may have.

Ive always thought of AIO's as production detailing and not for use for us weekend warriors. I dont use AIO's at all but if i did it would definitely be D151 as i hear nothing but good things about it, very versatile product.

I used Optimum Poli-Seal with a PC and white pads on my GF's Accord and had good results- the correction was actually quite noticeable, even with the LC white pad.

If you go this route, keep extra pads on hand, I used 2 on the car, but 3 would have been ideal.

Just because you are doing quality work, doesn't mean every car is getting a full correction. I have grown to love AIO's and generally I add them on top of a wash and wax to add some gloss and remove some light marring. If you are claying, a paint cleaner or AIO is a must in my book.

As for my favorite I love Poliseal and the new Blackfire AIO. In terms of cut the nod goes to PS, but not by much. In terms of looks I have to say I have been looking how the BF product leaves the paint looking. And it preps for the application of another BF LSP. Win/Win for me.

I am itching to try Blackfire Total Polish and Seal. Is this anyone's "go to AIO"?

This is a very good point, that gets overlooked sometimes. AIO's tend to clog up pads much faster than a normal polish or paint cleaner would. It is important to make sure you switch to a fresh pad once the one you are using gets saturated with product. If you keep using a clogged pad you aren't going to get the full corrective benefits of an AIO. I tend to use 4-6 pads on a medium sized vehicle when doing an AIO.

Bad timing, I think Flanny just chimed in on this one. Sorry -

XMT 360 is my go-to AIO. I've been very impressed with it so far. But to totally honest I haven't tried many AIO's at all and its probably the detailing product that I've experimented with the least.

I'm pretty happy with D151 as of late.

Although there are many, and I'm sure some maybe better or worst,Ive only used D151 and I was very satisfied, especially after I applied a coat of carnauba

Ever try it on soft paint (like Jet Black on a 3 series BMW)? If so, how did it turn out?

D151 is like God juice on soft paint. Highly recommend it!

I'm thinking poliseal or poliseal hybrid for my spring detail...
