I've had this product for a while now. I have simply been waiting for the perfect candidate.......I believe this Jeep was it! The bay was dirty and oily from 150k+ miles.

Let's see the befores....
Pretty dang grimy!

The test product.....
DP's Engine Degreaser
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a127/justin30513/Pictures033.jpg

I spray it heavily onto all of the engine's components. Inner hood too. The engine was a little warm. I wanted the caked on oil to be a little pliable. After spraying it with the chemical, I let stand for five minutes. The odor was not harsh at all. Pleasant even. It didn't take my breath away like Purple Power can if standing down wind from it.
Here it is soaking. You can already see it working!

I even hit the door jams with it! Look at the ooze!

After blasting it with my pressure washer, I coated the wet engine with a layer of Armor All Foam. I closed the hood, started the engine, and set to bake for 15 minutes. DING! It's done!
(These pics are of the engine untouched. I do not even have to wipe anything down!)

Final Thoughts:
I was skeptical at first due to the cost of the product. Why not just use a regular degreaser? Well, I don't do a lot of engine bay.....maybe 1-2 a week. Since this product works on a molecular level, it acutally cleaned better than any degreaser I've used to date. Something that really works is priceless to me. DP's Engine Degreaser has a spot in my arsenal.

Justin, did you use much of the bottle? I used it once and used about half of the bottle. Must not have been doing it right. Your job on the jeep looks great.

Another product I'm adding to my list after that review. I love Armor All Tire Foam on the engine, main thing is it dries dry and stays nice for awhile, makes wipedowns easier later on instead of normal dressings that leave behind a coating that isn't dry.

When you spray degreaser on the engine, do you rinse down the engine first? Or just spray the degreaser on the dirty engine?

On the site it says to wet it down first. I havent done that other times with other products. Also, be careful with polished aluminum.

I didn't wet the engine at all. I just let get warm to loosen the heavy build up of oil.

Great review, Justin! I was waiting for this one, bro. yes, DP is one of the best engine cleaners in the word, and it doesn't have air killing harsh chemicals, those cheap chemicals that give you an allergy later down the road.
I want to try my bottle of DP Engine Degreaser pretty soon.
