Here in Atlanta it was 64 degrees out this AM...

Here was my process:
Foam Cannon with DP's Foam
Wash with CG Citrus Clear
P21 for the wheels
Megs All Purpose for the underneath and tires

Did some polishing with CG Vertua Bond 408
Coat of CG Blacklight
Coat of CG Lava

UTTG - The plastic parts
Opti-Bond - the tires

Windows were cleaned with CG Glassworks with Pom

Here I start off using my new pressure washer and foam cannon that I got for Christmas!

Here is the Jeep after one coat of CG Blacklight - interesting product. I really like what it looked like after one coat of it...I might need to pick up some V7

Nice job. Is there a learning curve to applying wax other then applying thin?

:dblthumb2: welcome to the jeep cult. looks outstanding! did you notice the two hidden easter eggs by now?

1. the jeep grille on the windshield (on top, behind the rear view mirror)
2. little jeep rock crawling in the corner of the windshield. (passenger side)

I like there products. Do not know if I am crazy about the Glassworkz - lots of streaking, just did not seem I could get them cleaned on the first pass. Jury is out still on it...

Thanks Bobby - don't know about black! Wow everything shows up, it will keep me busy!

This. How was working with lava?

It was really different - when I first put the pad in to get some - it was funny! It is hard to explain, just not what to I expected!

Nice job. Is there a learning curve to applying wax other then applying thin?

Yeah, to apply thin seemed tougher then other waxes. Also, it was tough to see in my garage on a black car. I think in some spots I applied too much, I came back after I wiped everything down and there was still a little film in spots that I re-wiped off. My wife's to Grand Cherokee is Candy Red, I am going to use it on there. I like the Blacklight on their by itself, but wanted to use the Lava...

Are you going to Mod your jeep?

being a arctic, i am not going to do crazy mods. want to keep it close to stock. they come loaded with all the jeep toys i need!

2012 Wrangler Arctic Edition | Extreme Weather Adventurer | Jeep (http://www.jeep.com/en/2012/wrangler_arctic/)

i did add the mopar bug shield and entry guards. and m.o.r.e. makes a great dead pedal for the automatics. a place to rest your left foot! have it and love it. i do want to add some grille inserts to protect the radiator.

Black is beautiful, especially when its someone elses to take care of, LOL! Looks like your off to a good start and from what I see, your all set to keep up/maintain that black hue, how much orange peel does it have?
