With our new set layout each car needs to be carefully backed up and then crabbed into place.

I give it a 9 out of 10...........I would of given a 10 on the burnout but he deviated off the contraction joint in the concrete just a little.

Gotta love those old cars. My dad had 67 Plymouth GTX 440 supercomando, automatic and sky blue. One of these days I'm gonna find another one, buy it, and then park it in his driveway and say "here Dad...it's yours."

I was enveloped in a cloud of smoke about a large as our building taking pictures and after laying down some rubber Carlos hotrodded out of the parking lot.

I'll probably see him this car or one of his others cars at the Tuesday night car show and I'll look to see if there's any rubber on the panels and if there is I'll offer to help him clean it up.

I'm guessing he's going to have to purchase a new set of rear tires... :D


Carlos was also on the show with his all original 1964 Chrysler Imperial, these are the cars used to make the Green Hornet Cars. On the show I demonstrated how to remove swirls and scratches and now there's a spot on the front hood that's clear, glossy and swirl free and the rest of the car is filled with swirls, scratches and oxidation.

I've offered to Carlos to come over to his house and help him to finish the entire car so he's not stuck with a classic car with just one section of good looking paint.

We've invited all the owners of the cars used for our second season TV show to bring their cars to Detail Fest but just to note, there's no way I'm going to have time to help restore the paint on all the cars we demonstrated on to showcase a product. So some will still need to be put through what I call an "Extreme Makeover" to bring them up to show car quality.
