So the weather was pretty nice outside friday in Milwaukee, WI! Mid 40's (although it snowed/flurried for an hour in the afternoon). After seeing Rez90's thread (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/45947-operation-clean-up-dd-complete-pics-inside.html) I ordered some d151 to try on my brothers (06??) Toyota Sequoia. Car doesn't look so big , but damn it took forever (~15 hours)! However, it was the FIRST REAL time with a DA polisher besides a test spot i did on the hood of my car. The car is a daily driver plus me and my brothers outdoor (camping, fishing, hunting etc.). It rarely gets washed as it is parked outside everyday. It has a decent amount of dents, and some deep scratches where he applied clear coat from turtle wax pen. I didn't want to wet sand any of it (no paint thickness gauage) so i just left it.

Steps:
-Coin op to get most of the nasty stuff and salt off.
-ONR wash
-Meguiars APC+ for tires
-Clayed with ONR dilute and meguair's clay
-Polished using GG6, LC Cyan HT pads, and Meguiars D151
-Threw on a layer of nxt 2.0 past with LC blue flat pad.
-1 coat of CP PERL 1:1
-And of course five Blue Moons between the first 5 hr to help keep me warm!

I decided to skip out on the interior bc he has three kids with TONS of junk in the car. Not only that, tons of tissue paper and his random reciepts for things that i did not want to touch or know if he needs or not. Also, I decided not to polish the from and back bumper because it would have been pretty difficult with the 5.5" pads. Got the majority of scratches and swirls out.

Apologies if it sounds like a lot of run on sentences and blahs. Need a good rest, then a ton of hw, GRE practice test tomorrow, and first Physics 2 test tuesday (eek!!!). Sorry if pictures are kind of crappy. Not very sunny when pics were taken. Advice/critic/complement all welcomed! Will make me better and a more efficient detailer:xyxthumbs:

EDIT: Kudos to Rez90 and his thread on his DD. It made me do this!

Not bad for an AIO product! How did it handle the swirls? Im guessing not all them came out?

the majority of the swirls came out. Some spots i went over a second time to try to get more out. For an AIO product, it performed really well. If i were to do a 105/205 and a LSP, it would have taken FOREVER.

At least the 15 hours were productive. Keep up the good work. Happy detailing...
