Hello everyone.

New to this forum but not to a clean vehicle. This time I'm committed to making sure my vehicle is properly taken care of. Pain on my sports car has greatly diminished since I've taken ownership due to the 1 buck wash repeatably over my 11 years of ownership. Swirrl galore and not liking it very much. After practicing on my daily driver, wife's car & about 3-4 other family and friends car's I'll tackle my sports car. I'd like to get some practice before working on the pride an joy.

I'd also like to recoup some of the initial cost & possibly make some money on the side detailing cars. Hoping for 1-2 cars a month.

Welcome to Autogeek Online! 1-2 cars per month is not much. You could probably do at least 3-4. It does depend on your scheduling though.

Very true. Ideally I'd like to focus on full corrections. A few smaller jobs might also be more useful time wise with my current schedule. I'm a newly wed and have a very time consumption wife. Currently working for an engineering firm on a 9-80 schedule. So every other Friday off would be put to use detailing others vehicles. Also flexible with every weekend depending on the clients needs. During the week is a no-go right now because I get off of work at 4 pm and dont really have that much daylight to do anything more than a wash job which might be worth my time depending on the location of the client.

Looking at detailing as a side gig for extra spending cash for home improvement projects.
