I've had several requests to have this thread made into a sticky to help people. I sent a request to a mod on here who didn't bother to respond. I'll leave it there. If you would like to see this thread made into a sticky, please respond so all the AG mods can see it and maybe one of them can make the change:

I think it should be. It is a very thorough walk through of how to repair key scratches. You have my vote for a sticky.

I think this article will help everyone that encounters a key scratch repair in their future. It's very comprehensive and informative. It's a no brainer to make it sticky.

My buddy has the same issue with his MAzda....almost same exact color, too.
