How to Care for Tampico?

I just recently purchased this Natural Tampico Upholstery & Carpet Scrub Brush (http://www.autogeek.net/natural-tampico-upholstery-carpet-scrub-brush.html) and was wondering how would you care for something like this? I know the tampico fibers are chemical resistant but after a few uses i can see some staining on the ends of the fibers. Is there a correct way to clean these without harming the fibers?

Note:I only use this brush for cleaning carpets and not upholstery (not leather and vinyl).

Just clean it with some APC. The Tampico fibers are pretty tough.

That's what I was thinking. I don't have any apc on hand yet, is there anything a good OTC apc product that I can purchase since i don't have time to wait to get some through AG?

I've never been able to get the staining out-even though it is non transferrable.
