I have a Challenger with stripe decals on the side. My question is how to treat them when waxing/sealing. I plan to, clay-cleanse-polish-seal-wax.

Thanks

Just wax right over them.

Avoid them when it comes to compound/polish though.

Be cautious around the edges of stripes, you can get some ugly wax build up there if your not careful!

I have stripes on my GT500 and I clay and wax them. If you have the matte black stripes, I would be very careful which wax you choose or just use a spray wax designed for all surfaces. Compound and polish will not help with swirls on vinyl stripes. Either tape the edges or just be very careful.

I do not wax mine. I clay them and then I have put UTTG on then and buff off. But I just ordered this
Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte Detailer 16 oz. (http://www.autogeek.net/chemical-guys-meticulous-matte-detailer.html)
