How Do You Properly Use Surbuf Pads?

So I have heard that Surbuf pads can have a learning curve. I hear that you don't want to use to much pressure, not good for rotaries and not to use too much product.

It seems to me that M105 wouldn't be a good fit bc the hairs would clump up. Am I correct?

What are some things to watch out for and what are some good techniques?
