I'm looking for a very strong wheel cleaner. I need them for bad wheel barrels on customer vehicles. My method would be first daytona brush and if that doesn't work, then I will dismantle it and clean each wheel independently. Suggestions? Also, I'm afraid to use acid, as I have heard it can be deadly. What precautions should I take when/if using acid based (hydroflouric/ammonium biflouride) wheel cleaners? Thanks! :)

I've had very good results using Griot's Heavy Duty Wheel cleaner, which is not acidic.

Megs wheel Brightener is probably the strongest wheel cleaner. I used it last weekend on a clients car that said they hadnt cleaned their wheels in about a year. Took me 2 minutes a wheel and a wheel brush with megs to get them sparkling again. Good stuff!

Amazing Roll-off worked very well for me as well as Mother's Wheel & Tire cleaner. In the end my staple is Megs APC+ at a strong dilution; normally I start off anywhere from 5:1 to 3:1.
