Will citrus wash an gloss remove my recent layer of Wolfgang deep gloss ? I recently did paint correction and layered with dgps and a few layers of dodo blue velvet . If it does please let me know what I can use to wash without stripping this off

CG Citrus Wash and Gloss is a very strong soap. Follow the label instructions and mix accordingly and you will not have that problem.

CG CWG is safe at low dilutions (1oz to 4 gallons water) but can be mixed strong enough (1oz to 1 gallon water) to strip LSPs.

I use it to wash. Love it! Just use 1 or 2 capfulls into 4 gallons of water in the wash bucket. Never had a problem. The water beads very well when rinsing, plus, it does give the car a nice shine.

I am not sure which is better, but here is what I do know about both CW&Clear and CW&Gloss. Btw, I use CW&Clear.

Citrus Wash and Clear
--------------------------
1 cap full + 4-5 gallons of water for maintenance wash
2oz per gallon of water - paintwork cleanser - strip LSP

Citrus Wash and Gloss
--------------------------
1 cap full with 3-5 gallons of water for maintenance
1oz with 1 gallon water - paintwork cleanser - strip LSP

Thanks this is just for the simple upkeep of my new paint correction and deep gloss. I do not want to remove any product just yet so id say i need to go with the maintence of that shine

I used it today to strip the old wax off one of my cars. 1oz. wash to 1 gallon of water definitely does the job.

yes, I will use that amount in the spring before I apply new wax

I just used this wash for the first time today and realized that when washing if i didnt dry one side of the car while doing the other it was drying with water run marks and other marks from the soap? Iv never seen this with my Megs ultimate wash with caranuba. The runs and spots where easy to wipe away but just wondering why a pro wash doesn't just come off and leave nothing. Anyone else have this issue? i used about a cap full in a 5 gallon bucket to dilute in order to not remove my gloss and wax

I never had a problem with that. But maybe when it gets warm outside it might do this. I was washing in my garage with temp in the 50's. Maybe give it a good rinsing

Does anyone have recommendation measurements for removing/not removing LSPs with a foam cannon and Citrus wash and gloss?

If it's strong enough to strip an LSP at a strong dilution, isn't it still stripping an LSP at weak dilution, just over a longer time and more washes?

Just a thought.

yes but technically anytime you touch the paint, the same thing is happening...

that's what spray wax/sealants are for!
