Chevy paint type ? Laser blue and others

I have a laser blue Chevy Equinox. I am not to up to date on how to check hardness or how to even tell the differences in paint and different brand cars. Has anyone touched a Chevy with the laser blue paint I speak of almost a purple at certain angles. I would love to know a better combo or something to make the job easier. I spent three days polishing and detailing every ounce of the car but was still not pleased with swirl removal. I used a griots da along with Wolfgang twins, orange lc flat pad. And topped with deep gloss from wolfgang.

Might be nice to have a section about different year brand an color paints on this forum. I did search but I'm on the phone so may have
