Hi All,

I am from Australia and have a white 2001 VX Ss Holden Commodore. I have been using P21 paint cleanser and P21 concourse wax, the last detail I swapped the p21 for the dodo supernatural. As my car now spends more time out of the garage these days I was considering moving to a sealant for extra protection.

I was looking to go either Duragloss or Blackfire.

Which one do you guys recommend?

Thanks

Clarky

The only way to really tell what will work for you is to experience both. Buy one of each and divide your trunk in half and apply them. Then you will know. I'm getting ready to do this with UPGP and BF Crystal Seal....

Love the looks of Blackfire and the ease of application, but Collinite 845 is a more durable sealant.

Duragloss 105 or 501 are awesome products worth many times their price.

The very reasonable prices for the Duragloss products makes them a winner. But I do like the couple of Blackfire products I've used. The Blackfire products cost about double of the Duragloss.

Plus Duragloss products are much easier to find.

Thanks for all the responses. I think I will go the Duragloss, as I know I can buy this locally here in Australia, as far as I am aware cant get Blackfire here. Will try the Duragloss as I always hear good things, I use their car wash currently. Then I may top the DG with some Collinite 845 sounds like a winner at a cheap price too :)

That is a great combination that will give you outstanding durability and looks. You will love the dirt shedding ability as well.

Blackfire is the best sealant I have used on white. It looks the best out of all the popular offerings.
