I am going to be doing a paint correction on my friends black Merc CLS 550. I will be using either the Pinnacle twins or Megs M105/205 combo for the correction step.

For the last step, I have Souveran. Part of the deal is I do the work for free but keep the products I use which he is paying for....so yeah I got Souveran and will use it on his car. I know I need a better layer of protection under Souveran. I now have some Collinite 845 as well as Megs 21. Which would be better off as a protection layer underneath the Souveran specifically?

I also picked up some panel pots of Light Fantastic and White Diamond. Gosh I love the smell of that stuff. That's for use on my white SS!

845 is going to be much more durable than Megs 21.

:iagree: Collinite 845 is an incredible wax at an affordable price....

The only thing I can add is that it's about as durable as any sealant you'll find. IMO, an excellent base for a "beauty wax"

Nothing really wrong with Megs 21, but 845 is an amazing wax for sure!!
