I just got a sample of it and I'm going to try it out on a black Cadillac tomorrow.

I almost always use an LC green pad. On softer paint I will use a black pad though.

Do you like D151?

I do like D151. It has decent cut for an AIO, and it is easy to work with. The one downside is That it only lasts 3-4 weeks.

I tried poli-Seal, and that is kinda lacking in cut, but lasts 2-4 months. I have heard you can mix Poli-Seal with Polish II for more cut, but have not tried it.

I really want to try XMT360 next...

Ok so say you use 105 on a orange pad. Can you follow it up with D151? I have had many instances where 105 finishes pretty good but leaves a little haze.

Also can you top D151 with a sealant like say WG 3.0?

Yes you can use it after 105. And I wouldn't top it with a sealant. Sealant needs bare paint to cure to. I've topped it with wax though.

Ben -

I have a lot of `151 and want to use it as a polish on an older car, could I use it to polish with a orange pad and then strip it with ISP and then use a sealant like ultima or crystal seal?

While D-151 isn't really considered "pad dependent", the cut can definitely be adjusted by using a more or less aggressive pad. I've used D-151 to do full paint corrections from cut to finish via rotary/wool pad, rotary/light cutting foam pad, rotary/finishing foam pad. It finishes nicely but if you are after that finely jeweled finish I'd suggest following it with something like Menzerna PO85RD which would remove any of the sealant that the D-151 leaves behind.

Been a while since I used D151, mostly used it via wool on a rotary then a polishing pad on a DA to take out any possible holograms.
