what are you guys using to apply it and remove it?

To apply I am using CarPro Suede Microfiber Cloths wrapped around the Foam Block.

To remove I am using Short nap MF towels that I buy by the pack that I can through away after use. I figure the cost of the towels into my pricing.

i would be a bit nervous using those towels on a surface that i spent quite some time correcting. but then again i am throwing them away so its kinda give or take on getting higher "quality" ones at a higher price.. hmm lets see what others say when they chime in

I agree, those kind of MF's I use for utility work like applying interior dressings, door jambs, ect. If you have to sacrifice one nice MF it will be better then spending all that time correcting and applying just to harm the paint while finishing up the CQuartz

For application the suede clothes can't be beat.

Mark, I agree that OC is the better option IMO...


I wouldn't worry Bout those towels.
1. They are a quality towel.
2. If CQ is applied properly and let to cure for the correct amount of time it takes almost no effort to remove any hazing. So no pressure is needed.
3. If you want to buy more expensive towels go for it. Just drop them in a bucket of apc and water to soak immediately after use and then wash. Everything should be good.
4. Like I said earlier I am useing a bulk pack from the local wholesale club and have had no problems.

Marky Mark, the customer wants cquartz "3 coats" . i guess i will just use one of my nicer towels i just dont want lint to get stuck in the coating .
