I am amazed how many different shampoos they are, even in the same manufacturer. Is there that much difference or is it like ice cream, with 33 flavors, just a preference?

Just like ice cream...except the shampoos taste better. :P

Especially ONR :hungry:

There are some differences with shampoos. Some has gloss enhancers in them, some are highly concentrated others aren't, some can strip wax others cannot.

Re: So many different shampoos.

^^^^^^^:iagree:^^^^^^^

Some foam a lot, some don't.
Some are 'salted' more than others.
Some boast to be better 2-In-Ones than their competitors.
Some are said to have better dirt/contaminate encapsulating polymers than others
Some are more, sometimes less, expensive than others (p/wash session : p/vehicle)

And on, and on.

IMO...Most car wash shampoos offered @ AGO are more than acceptable for your needs...You pick the price-point, though.

Shampoos for car, for hair. Well, as far as hair, the Suave Brand has exceeded those boutique, designer and spa brands costing 10x+. Marketing gets strange results but science and testing is proof. Is there an analogy, Hair/car, you decide.

I sometimes have to use car wash shampoo after too speedily going through some hair-pin turns. Pretty hairy situations at times. After the race...It always seems to work, as promised, on the interior clean-up...'Suavealous' even.

Find the cheapest one that blows you away and order a crap ton. For me that is DG901.

just Optimum No Rinse and you will never use car shampoo again.

When in doubt, :whs:
You should buy a gallon, or at least some, before you contemplate your next soap.

And it never hurts to ask yourself, "What would Corey the review hound do?"
Im the MAN :buffing: Im the MAN

I bought some Ultima Waterless Wash Plus concentrate and Ultima Paint Guard Wash based on Corey's reviews. I love the UWW+ and will never be without. I haven't tried the UPGW yet because I'm getting such great results with ONR and UWW+, hint hint.

I really like Pinnacle XMT Shampoo the most out of all shampoos I have.
