I just received my new shipment of BFWD sealant and red pads today. I think I may have a problem though. My BFWD is very liquidity. From my understanding I thought it was supposed to be thicker and not runny like a bottle of water. I have M105 and M205 and they are not runny. Now I understand that the climate I am in is cold at this moment, but I would like to know what should I do?

It's supposed to be like that. Sealants are generally thin.

Ok, but isn't it supposed to have some thickness to it? I mean if I put it onto a pad right now it would be like pouring water onto my pad. It seems like it got to cold

My BFWD is very runny. Almost like water at times and I've never had a problem with it.

:iagree: you're fine. No need to worry. I mean you could send me the product so I can see for myself ;)

Ok thanks really appreciate the quick responses. I have a GG 6 inch polisher and will fully detail my SS this spring but want to stock up on all my products and never used a sealant before but after I shook it up it was ok.

For best results keep it lying on the side and just turn it over now and then.

since the consistency of hardworks bfwd seems to be ok and there is a gathering of bfwd users here, excuse my hijack, but what is the difference in using a black pad vs red pad for bfwd.

Really nothing. Red is softer, but I have applied many LSPs with a black pad with no issues.
