I am in the market for a good interior cleaner that has a bit more bite than 'mild'. Specifically, I am *assuming* (yeah, I know where that gets me) Meg's Quick Interior Detailer is a good 'light duty' product for all interior surfaces - leather included. Is this right, or is it more medium than mild?

I have APC+, but am not sure if that will suffice (cut to say 10:1) for medium duty cleaning or whether I should look to Meg's APC (without the plus) or perhaps OPC at 3:1.

What do you guys like for Light, Medium and Heavy interior cleaning?

Light: Meg's QID
medium-heavy: APC+ 1:10 or 1:4

for heavy I go 3:1 with opc, in the lighter end 8:1 or 10:1 with opc works well. I have power clean in 3 different bottles at different dilutions for whatever comes up. After power clean I go over it with megs QID or 303 bc I like the look it leaves

For medium duty cleaning you could use a cleaner like Ultima Interior Gel or DP Interior Cleaner. Both are safe for everything on the interior, and have very good cleaning power. You might have to do a little extra scubbing for the tough stuff, but over all they work great. The issue I have found with APC's on interiors is you have to wipe them down with water afterwards, or you get a sticky residue left on the surface. Just my .02

Thanks Flannigan. I learned from a lot of posts on this forum that wiping off APC or APC+ with water on trim and interiors is a smart move and value that tip WAY more than .02 cents. It makes sense to clean off exess chemical.:iagree:

I have used a few CG interior products that cleaned well. But I really like APC+ 10:1. Doesn't leave a residue behind for me.

I've used APC+ 10:1, DP Interior cleaner and Mother VLR. All works good for medium mild work!

Great stuff gang. Now I kow what to reach for with a dirt interior that is too much for QID.
