What do you guys/girls do after you use your form applicators for waxing? Put it away in a ziplock bag or clean them or something else?

Ziplock bag>?

I have mine sent out for independent lab analysis.

Then I just buy new ones.

I use DP pad rejuvenator. Soak them for a few minutes, rinse, air dry. Works well.

Wash them with MF towels in washine machine. My applicator pads usually last me 4-6 applications.

I wash mine with either a APC mix or Dawn by hand so the products have to chance to ahere to MF's in a wash cycle...I air dry them and bag them..must be dry before bagging or they will mildew

I use a little soap and rinse them out. Some wax's and sealants are harder to clean out. So I will get a few less use's out of them

the foam ones will last damn near forever, just wash em out :)

most of the time I toss them .... unless using something that easily washes out with hose, XMT pad cleaner, and water.

I use them until they don't clean well. Then I just replace them.

ive noticed that WGDGPS and Souveran are IMPOSSIBLE to get out of gray pads and foam applicators. Also, the WG Clear Plastic Sealant is not a walk in the part either.

:iagree: from experience. I've put pads in baggies that must have been damp, only to pull them out later with the black mildew specks. Still use XMT Cleaner but make sure that they are well dry before putting them in plastic tub from 99 cent store.

Well, I have about 12 of those Megs Gold Class Apps. I keep them dedicated to a certain wax/seants, such as DG105, NB, Souveran, etc. etc.

When done, I give em a squirt with XMT pad cleaner, run them with water. Then I throw them in the washing machine with my dirty MF's and use Micro restore. Put everything in the dryer with two blue balls, and everything is good to go. I'll also throw my Edge pads in the dryer as well sometimes, but not the washing machine.

The app pads are usually stained, but still work very well.

And I store them in my Megs Duffle.

Wow. I can't believe some of you guys throw them away after each use.

Send them to me. I will be happy to use them.

I clean all my applicator pads after each use with laundry detergent in the sink by hand. This works like a charm. I use them as long as possible also.
