This is my first post here and I'm about to make another purchase from autogeek. I already have a GG 6" DA polisher with a 5.5 in backing plate and 5 in pads with M105 & M205 with orange and grey pads.

Now I want to get the BFWD sealant with the correct pads. I know it says I can use the grey pads for sealants, but I thought an even softer pad would be better for applying a sealant. So with my first post what color pads shoul I buy?

I use a black pad, but have used blue also. Use less product than you think.

:iagree: A little goes a very long way, and I mean it. It won't hurt if you put it on a little too thick at first but it is better to save product.

I used red wax pads on my Porter Cable with Wet Diamond. Also have used blue pads with no differences.

I love the Lake County Gold pads for applying BFWD. They seem to spread the product so well.

I use red pads to apply BFWD. But Any finishing pad will work just fine.

I also agree. This stuff went wayyyyy further than I expected, and I knew in advance to keep my usage to a minimum.

When I was looking for a wax pad most of the advice I got was a Hydro-Tech Crimson 4" on a 3.5" backing plate, I'm very glad i listened to the advice, it works great and the smaller size gets into much smaller areas so less work by hand.

I've used the red as well but have wondered how the gold would work and if it might be better.........:props:
