Today was yet another busy day in the Show Car Garage filming for the next season of "What's in the Garage?". We've had quite a few cool, rare cars come and go in the last several days and today was no exception.

:cruisin:

First up was Tommy's 1970 1/2 RS SS Split Front Bumper Camaro with a 468 Big Block Chevy Engine.

Tommy's Camaro is more than just a looker. Tommy started out with a 454 Big Block and turned it into a pavement wrinkling 468 pushing well over 500 horsepower.

Next up was Steve's 1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car.

Steve kept his Camaro as original as could be.

I think those split bumper Camaros are the best. Don't get me wrong, those other rides are very sweet but that Camaro makes me grin. Knowing 500 ponies are hiding under those 2 black RS hood stripes makes me a giddy little school girl!!!

Tommy lit em up when he left Autogeek and his Camaro is as fast as it looks!

Nice job on getting pictures and then getting them on the forum Nick, thanks for all your help...

Just to note, many of the cars you're seeing in these threads from the taping of our TV show are going to be back as our guests project cars on Thursday nights. Typically whatever we're showing on their segment for a detailing tip needs to be done to the entire car and as you know, there's not enough time to actually detail an entire car on a 20 minute show.

So expect to see some really cool cars at our Thursday Night "Autogeek's Car of the Week" (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pictures-autogeek-s-car-week/) projects and most if not all of the cars on our TV show will also be here on display at Detail Fest.

Tommy, I'm sure Max will allow me a little joyride when we see each other again! I've never experienced taking a ride in any car of that magnitude so hopefully our paths will cross soon

NicoleSwirlGirl, my wife wants to know if the yellow 'Vette is yours. She had a '68 back in her teen days (it was red). I showed her your Pops Camaro as I made arh arh arh Tim the Tool Man sounds and danced around the laptop. Is your 'Vette as clean and mean as the 'Mean Grinch'?

I have a technical question. The lights in the overheads are fluorescent but wondering what the lights on the floor stands are? I was wondering about color balance with two possible lighting systems. Is it corrected in post production?
