Mainly looking for something to clean my plastic honeycomb style grill

How hard are the wheel woolies? The name kinda implies scotch brite to me but I assume this is wrong. Which is most versatile? What would you pick and why?

huh, aren't they made of wool?

I'd imagine they are soft when wet...

They are soft. If you buy the set, one of the smaller ones will fit your honeycomb grill.

Wheel woolies without a doubt... Like surfer said get the set. You will find many uses for each size.

I've found that if you get some suds from a wash bucket on the speed brush that it significantly reduces any spraying/slinging of wheel cleaner and grime. A wheel cleaner that foams when agitated also helps quite a bit. I don't have any problems scrubbing wheels now that I use this method.

Good tip, need to try that.

If you twist them as you are using them, you will find the splatter back reduced drastically. I believe it eas Meghan that pointed that tip out a while ago and it has worked well for me.

Do you mean to turn the speed brush while you are pulling it out of wheel spokes? I used it once while doing rinseless wash and I got splattered with black crud as I was brushing between spokes. I'm pretty sure I was turning it with my wrist instead of just moving it in and out.
