Hey guys,

My mom's 97 acura has some headlights in really rough shape. I was thinking of using a orange LC pad with some megs 105 on my PC for it. Has anyone tried this? What speed should I use on my PC? Afterwards I will seal it with my new Meguiars headlight protectant that I just got in my last autogeek order.

Thanks,
Drew

Just went ahead and did them. I used megs 105 followed by megs PlastX on my PC. Used an orange LC pad on speed 5.5. I finished off by applying megs headlight protectant that just came available on autogeek and everywhere else. It seems like a nice product so far. Headlights look great now!!

I have used 105, but as a finishing polish after sanding. It worked very well.

But I don't even bother to finish polish anymore. I just go straight from sanding to coating with Spar Urethane. The surface end up not only protected but sparkling clear.
