What does it take to burn edges using a rotary? I mean, if you are moving the machine normally, how long before you burn an edge?

I'm also just a newbie with rotary, haven't really practiced with it much. Just trying to get the hang of it for now.

I am trying to figure out why you would even want to use a rotary. It is what I started out on a long time ago, but with the Griot's machine (a lot of power and so smooth) and the Flex DA, there is not much these machines cannot do, and they do not leave the swirls that you later have to get out when using a wheel. Just my thoughts. I am sure many will say they can do things with a rotary much faster etc. I don't buy it. That was true when all we had were the first PC which were weak, and the pads had not caught up as well. But with these two machines, and pads now made with DA in mind, well I see no reason to use the rotary anymore. I actually sold mine.
