Just curious about two new (at least to me) CarPro products:

CarPro Fixer Polishing Compound, car polish (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-fixer-compound-500.html)

(Pick from link)

CarPro Fixer Polishing Compound (http://www.autogeek.net/carpro-fixer-compound.html)

(pick from link)

I'm curious as to how these products compare to similar products, like the popular 105 and 205, as well Meg's UP and UC which I have used.

Any experience with these, anyone?Feed back please

Hi Ted! Those are actually the same product in two different size bottles. It uses diminishing abrasives and can really finish down nicely. It does the job of both compound and/or polish based on the pad you use. Really an excellent product but acts different than a 205 or 105 type. With a good cutting pad you can remove some serious defects in pretty short order as well. Works on both a rotary or D/A (To be specific I've been using it on the 3401 and PE-14. I was planning to get a review done sooner but I'm waiting on a new line of pads to use with it as well for the full review.

I know Ken and Dave have both been using it and love it as well. Richy played with one of the beta versions. I think it was #3 same as myself and he was happy with it.

 No wonder. I thought one was a polish and one was a compound. So they are just different sizes of both. I may look into this further.

I wonder if it can be used as a compound via the orange pad, then polsh with a black pad?

You can certainly do it two step wih different pads and depending on the defects, type of paint, etc you can one step it. It all depends

im guessing car pro's fixer would be along the lines of meguiars Solo
meaning one liquid product that you tailor to suit by choosing a different pad and/or machine combination.
