What do you think of this 70's era 2-door Chevy?
This is a Pro Stock Vega with a $10,000 paint job that will be here next week with myself and my guest Tommy Johnson Jr.

Well, she can move that's for sure but the paint is not my cup of tea!

Not a bad car in my mind, but the paint job is terrible. Looks like a big sticker or something you might see in lowrider magazine.

I'm going to hold off on judgment till the car arrives here next week and I'll take some pictures and post them.
I've already sent the link to this thread to the owner of the car, his son, both TV Producers, and our Marketing Agent for the show...

I remember Grumpy Jenkins and others were pushing those down the track in the '70s. Bob Glidden, Don Nicholson and the Fords sent 'em home real regularly, IIRC.

Why would you spend that kind of $$ for paint when it could possibly hitting the wall?

Drag strip retaining wall scuffs don't buff out - I know from experience - unfortunately. You gotta love a wheel stand!

There's a Ferrari sticker or painted graphic on the side because the owner's last name is Ferrari.
Has nothing to do withe Ferrari cars though...
I needed a car for Wednesday with Tommy Johnson Jr. and since Tommy is a race car driver I thought it would be a good match.

I remember back in the '70's lots of people were putting V8's in Vegas. It didn't take much motor to make those light cars fast as hell.

Unless my eyes deceive me, that actually is just a big vinyl wrap... and not a particularly attractive one IMHO. No offense to the owner but I think a slightly less busy scheme would be my preference.
