looking for something to make washing/polishing/waxing those lower panels easier. i think technique improves if you are comfortable.
how about that bucket with the bucket dolly (pricey!).
Grit Guard® Dual Bucket Washing System - CLEAR (http://www.autogeek.net/grit-guard-wash-system.html)
looking for opinions on the bucket dollies and any other suggestions.
thanks.

I use an old 5 gallon wet/dry vac. just take off the top. my 5 gallon buckets fit perfectly inside, and the wet/dry vac has wheels. best part is that it cost me nothing. I found them on the side of the road.
If i wanted to improve then I would put bigger wheels on them. they have skinny little wheels and they get traped in cracks and can topple over, but that doesn't really happen.

very resourceful. you ever sit on it? i'm looking for something to sit and roll around on so i can work on the lower parts of the car without squatting, kneeling, or bending over. something that rolls.

you can. the lids for the home depote buckets are a dollar. you would probably need stronger wheels if you sit on it. also you couldn't get very low.
I am six foot and I need to be quite low. I bought this seat roller from harbor freight. it was 25 bucks. i wish it would go lower. sometimes i just use a step stool and sit on that, its maybe 8inches tall. the harbor freight one has been pretty useful. i don't use it on every detail, but 2 stage(compound+polish) i tend to use it.

I use a cheap office chair in the lowest position. You're only about a foot off the floor with a wide stable wheel frame and you can pick these up put out for garbage also. :xyxthumbs:
