Just saw this video
Tornador for a vac

I think it's in German, but you get the idea from the video

I want one. I wonder if you could get a similar but less convenient effect by using the tornador blow gun in one hand and the shop vac in the other right next to it.

Isn't that basically an extractor?

Looks like it would save a lot of time, that's for sure!

That is simply amazing. No longer will one have to tornador then vacuum in two separate steps. IMO this is as innovative as the MF system, and I want one!

Nope, it doesn't spray any cleaner, just uses the air to dislodge the dirt.

Just dropped $200 on the Tornador Black. Now, I have to do another $200 for the X-017 vacuum attachment. Just keeps getting better.

Well, my Tornador arrived and my new air compressor was just a few minutes behind it. I have it doing its Break in right now. That thing is a monster.

What air compressor did you go with?

I got the Sears Craftsman Professional 27 gallon, 1.9 hp, 150 psi with 7.2 SCFM at 40 and 5.8 at 90. It is a monster but a lot quieter than my old oil less

Hows the Tornador black? Im on the fence about getting one. I have the original and like it but can't justify $200 for a new one unless it blows the old one out of the water.

I don't have the Classic. I spent a good bit of time today with the Black. I seems to work well but I'm not sure it would be that much better than the original. What I used it on today was not real dirty. I really want to see how it does on dirty carpet or upholstery. For someone who does not have a Tornador, I would probably recommend the extra money for the Black. Whether it is worth $200 when you have the Classic, hard to say.

How long were you able to work with your current setup? looking at the husky 33 gallon compressor setup and appears it will work with the black.

I set the line pressure between 90 and 100 psi and every time, I checked, it was holding at that pressure. I haven't tried letting the tank fill all the way before I start to see how long before the compressor kicks in. I'm too impatient for that. I also have leaks at some connections. But, I don't seem to have any power issues. I will try today with the Tornador blow gun which has requirements more like the Classic.
