Head out at 10 am, customer happens to be only be 5 minutes away. Get there, car pretty dirty but no biggie (toyota matrix) bust it out, wash, wax, interior shampoo/dressing(didn't need a shampoo). Finish about 3.5 hrs later 120 bucks. Customer loved it, tiped 75 bucks just cus they appreciated how it looked after being so dirty. Head home, stop in for a beer and a shot, post on auto geek, only 2.30..... I need more days like this.

Love small cars with decent interior. Those are the money makers.

Nice! I wish I got smaller cars. I feel like I attract the SUV's that get vacuumed out about once a year! Oh, and they always have pets lol

I've known guys that went after the Mini Cooper/Miata market just for the small, easy to buff out car reason...

I'd rather buff out a Miata than a Ford Excursion...

^ so true Mike, so true lol. Funny thing is some people complain about price changing on trucks as opposed to cars and this is the reason why haha.
Dugdug - sounds like an awesome day for you.

I guess all professions have they good and bad jobs. When I want an easy day I tell my wife "All I want are garbage disposals today"....like she can pick what kind of plumbing calls are going to come in. Disposals are easy, if it's jammed it takes about a minute to fix and if it needs to be replaced I can have the old unit out, the new one in and wired in 6 minutes. Easy money.

Then there are the days I get "odor" calls, I mean really...how am I gonna find an odor, my van is one big odor. The guys like "every time my wife comes out, there is this odor" ;-)
