Well I finally got my Pinn. Souv. in and stayed up to five in the moring waxing my car last Monday, I got home around two that night and foun the box sitting at the front door. Lets just say all my expectations of this stuff were exceeded, from the packaging to the results, even on my white car. Love the smell and ease of use and the smoothness it gives, I'm glad I got two cans. I did my parents two cars with it today. Although it did mute the flakes on my parents cars, the paint was very wet looking with depth. Can't wait to to do a black car. I'd almost use it on all the cars I detail. Check it out.

Have you used DG105 on your white car yet? All I can say about that is WOW! I topped it with my own Souveran today. Here are a couple pics before the Souveran:

I think you all have it a little wrong, Souveran doesnt mute the flakes as it is designed for richness and depth, it is the polymers in other products (like SSII, Maxwax) that amplify them to a certain extent. It has something more to do with reflection versus refraction of light.

Ohh, okay, I see what ya mean, for some reason I thought I had read that it did mute flakes, my bad. And I guess the reflection threw me off today.

killr, what is the small diff. between SSII and Souveran again? I personally use SSII, I was advised to go this route because the doubled price supposedly wasnt worth the difference on a white car...

I forgot to mention that the reason I mentioned DG105 is because it was supposed to look steller on white, and it did!

SSII is designed for lighter colors and metallics and has addtl polymers that amplify paint and thus the metallics.

But what is best for a dark colored metallic? Wine metallic, let's say?

The pics look great. :applause: I agree with Killer about the flakes. I have metallic flakes on my car as well and Souveran looks amazing. :) Enjoy your Souveran.

I would probably use Sig Series II on wine metallic personally if you are looking to see the metallic pop:

Is this the same car you put Collinite SDC on about a week and a half ago?
