Here's a screenshot showing how to Subscribe to a Thread

After you select Subscribe to this Thread you will be taken to a new screen that gives you options for how and when to be notified. If it's important that you stay up to date with the discussion then select Instant notification by email

After you've done the above, anytime there's a new post "after" you've visited the thread, you will be sent an e-mail notifying you of the new post.
You can Unsubscribe in the same manner...
