As most of you know, I've been raving about the new formula XMT 360 Spray Wax since it became available last month.

New Formula Pinnacle XMT Spray Wax Impresses (http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/new-car-care-products/43168-new-formula-pinnacle-xmt-spray-wax-impresses.html)

I've been using the new formula Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax after every wash on my daily driver for over a month now. It's so easy to use and it provides a super slick surface along with a mirror-like reflection.

It rained last night so early this morning I grabbed my camera and took a couple beading shots. :dblthumb2:

Very nice Nick!!

Santa has promised to leave some under the tree tonight so I can give it a try. If it tried to rain here now it would be in the form of snow......it's 29 outside....http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s225/BobbyG53/cldfreezing.gif

Buy the way, tell Meghan the Patriots are on at 1:00pm today...

So you have been applying this wax week after week? I'd be shocked if any wax didn't bead like that after multiple apps. I like the wax for how it looks. Amazing mirror finish but the real test for durability would be to apply it once and then count the weeks it takes to wear off. Problem is when waxes are as easy to apply as detail spray we will probably really never know their actual durability truth be told.

This stuff is AWESOME! Me and my lady went out this morning to grab breakfast and I saw the same thing on my car. I love watching the water flood off while driving.

Yes...This beading in your pictures does have such a hypnotic effect.

All of our eyes are drawn-in to stare at these glistening pearls.

But....Did you assure the total removal of these early morning gems before the late morning and afternoon Sun had its chance to also be drawn-in....not to stare,(as we tend to do), but to begin performing what it's well-known for:

These that are listed, among others:
-Water-Spotting
-Water-etching
-As a carrier system conveying environmental contaminates... contaminates that will settle upon and find their way down into the clear-coat paint film...via the water "solution" that's now formed.

But perhaps my above concerns are for naught...I'm sure they were removed post haste...After their photo-op, that is.
Hope so....

:)

:iagree:

yes. the beading is nice, but i wouldnt expect anything less from any wax whatever the brand. isnt that the whole point of wax? not really a unique feature. particularly with as often as weekly use.

This thread wasn't intended to be a durability update of any sort. It was a chance to test out my new camera and to provide those who like beading shots an opportunity to take a peek at what Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax has to offer. Besides the fact that it offers excellent protection as a stand-alone LSP, the new formula is so easy to use that I use it after every wash to boost my existing layer of protection and to further amp up the gloss. :dblthumb2:

Bob,

Have no fear, the beads were whisked away by a quick (pun intended) acceleration run on the I-95 entrance ramp. :p

Nice pics, Nick. I usually tend to get a good pic of my thumb at 2mm away when trying to do shots like those. Beading looks great as does the quality from the new camera. :props:
