There has been a ton of reviews about XMT 360 Spray Wax thanks to AG and there awesome contests! Everything has been very positive.

I recently got Optimum Car Wax and was blow away how easy it was to apply with no wiping afterward. A very impressive, effective and easy to use product.

For those of you that have used both XMT 360 Spray Wax AND Optimum Car Wax - HOW DO THEY COMPARE?

Pending durability, as I have only had 360 on for a little over a week, the 360 is a solid contender vs OPT.

Can you elaborate why?

Pretty much what mine and all the reviews you read. Easy to apply, no streaking, slick, and leaves a great gloss. I just cant comment on the durability as I just started using it. I havent ever used OPT as a stand alone but I do noticed increased beading after applying it.

I have used both products for a while now, both are very good products, but I cannot deny the cost savings for Optimum at the gallon level.

Optimum spray wax by a landslide when compared to XMT.

Its this simply because of cost?

Is this the new formula or old formula XMT?

IMHO, Optimum edges out both old and new XMT.
It is not close when comes to price though. XMT is $16 per 12oz.
Optimum is $40 per 128oz or $3.75 per 12oz.

Yeah...I agree when it comes to price...the 128oz of OCW is $30 cheaper. But have you actually used the XMT 360? That $70 price tag on the XMT360 is definitely not appealing. But if the OCW is same as far as looks and performance, I may switch.

I have used both products for a while now

Awhile as in a week? It just came out.

Wouldn't a gallon of either last like 5 years on one car? I found out the hard way to not buy gallons of anything except detail spray, apc, shampoo, or waterless wash. It just takes me too long to use it up. I guess if you were doing it for a living that would be different.

To clarify, I meant using the old formula XMT for a while.

Awhile as in a week? It just came out.

Yes, if not longer. I figure I use about half an ounce per application; if I use it weekly, a gallon of spray wax would last me for just under 5 years. Since I don't use a spray wax weekly (every second or third week), that would mean ten to fifteen years worth of product in a gallon!
