When I was trying to get rid of spots on my black truck I tried a whole host of special home brews with white vinegar and water. some special products made in Hawaii. Just to name a few.

What I did to get rid of my stubborn water spots was use SSR3 at speed 5 using a PC and a light cutting pad. Took my time checking my work often. Depending on the condition of your water spots an abrassive polish mite do the trick. You may have luck using the SSR line by hand but I used a PC. Hope that you get as good a results as I have obtained.

Thanks for info cwcad,

I'm new to all this. What is "PC"? What is "SSR3".

I tried the vinegar too---no luck!!

What about my glass? Same thing? Thanks again:rolleyes:

PC (Porter Cable 7424 or 7336) SSR (Super Swirl Remover) made By Pbs. Their abrassiveness starts at 1 being the lowest and moves up to 3 being the most aggressive.

SSR 1
SSR 2.0
SSR 2.5
SSR 3.0

I just noticed you also wanted to now about the stains on your glass. take a look at the link and call the company for advice, glass cleaning is what they do for a living.

I have been using Liquid Glass Polish successfully for over 20 years now. It gets rid of the scratches n swirls. It is the gold can with the pink corvete on it priced around $19.00 at a high end parts store.

Are you saying that Liquid Glass removes swirls or is it hiding swirls?
