I was wondering What size pads I should use for correction with my Porter Cable 7424xp. I bought the 5" Lake Country backing plate and because somewhere on Autogeek I read that the 6.5" pads were recommended with the 5" backing plate I bought those instead of the 5.5" pads. But now I am reading that most people use the 5.5" for correcting? Some people say the 6.5" are too big to rotate for correction? Should I exchange my 6.5" for 5.5"?

Thanks,
Drew

5.5" pads work best with the PC and your 5" BP is just perfect for them!

Definitely get 5.5" pads. 6.5" pads are fine for spreading wax/sealant though. So maybe keep a couple for that.
