Saw this earlier just looking around - http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_HYPER-GLO-LIQ-WAX-Mothers_10139931-P_N3302_T|GRP2074_____ (http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_HYPER-GLO-LIQ-WAX-Mothers_10139931-P_N3302_T%7CGRP2074_____)

Didn't find anything on this site, a google check or at the Mother's site.

I think it is an error.

That was a "work in process" name. I don't know why they posted that up.

The final/actual name is: "Mothers California Gold Synthetic Wax" in liquid. Part number 05716.

It's a new formula - longer lasting than FX SynWax but still with the FX ease of removal. We ship it the end of the year, so expect to see it on the shelf at Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone and Pep Boys about mid-February. It looks like this:

Any chance of some some sample for the Autogeek community? I just tried a sample of Synwax and was pleased with the outcome so if this is longer lasting, it may be something worth looking into.

We have a rather extensive list of testers we send product to, in all climates and areas.

I'm not sure if any of them post here (I know names, not screen names)- we usually ask they not post on forums when products are in the test/non-final phase.

I like FX Synwax and if this new one will last longer I am wondering how Reflections wax differs from this one (as I have both). Forrest, can you help me out here, please?

How do I get on this list??? Im the MAN

On a side note though, if this sells for what that website has it up for, then I will surely have this in my arsenal. And as always, super sleek and classy design on the bottle.

FX came first, then Reflections came as a modified version, made to be used with Top Coat afterwards.

California Gold Synthetic Wax is the latest of our synthetic formulations. Whether than technology creeps in to the FX ad Reflections line I don't know.

I believe most places will be $9.99.

Good to know Forrest, thank you. I would assume FX has some mild cleaners in it and Reflections does not. Reflections is a mix of Carnauba and synthetic and FX is fully synthetic. How close am I to the facts?

I wasn't aware Reflections came after FX. I do have TopCoat as well and I notice a very subtle deeper tone on my iron gray colored Volkswagen. You have to be looking for it though.

FX SynWax and Reflections Car Wax are synthetics. Top Coat is a carnauba synthetic hybrid.

Of course, autogeek.net will have it available for sale before any of those brick & mortar stores - along with our new California Gold Water Spot Remover for Glass.

I would guess Max will be our very first shipment - because he's that kinda guy.
