Don't know if you guys saw my post about finally getting around to using a sample of WGDPS las week ... But I just stepped out to my garage and see the the 2oz sample still on my shelf about 3/4 full meaning I used less than an ounce to do a Tahoe ... I never really gave thought to how much product I use when sealing as I always go thin but this is insane!
This sound about right to you guys?

I have experienced the same results wiht my WDGPS sample. It seems that when using a DA it does a great job of spreading it out.

An ounce is not allot of product but if you used a dual action polisher and didn't do the roof I'll bet you could do it with an ounce.....

Both Blackfire and WGPS go really far. I've done smaller cars using about 1/2 or maybe a little less.

I used BFWD on a black pad, did my friends truck...then did my car with the leftover product on the pad. Those black pads can really suck in the product though. I now reserve them for my paste wax.

It is easy to use less than an ounce with DA on an intermediate sized vehicle. It can be done by hand but takes a little more effort.

I apply 845 with a DA and can get about 40 applications out of one bottle. Same goes for WG.

I've got it down to a science almost.

SUV: 1oz
TRUCK: small 3/4oz large 1oz
CAR: 1/2oz to 3/4oz

Its unfortunate that most still consider using an abundance of a product should mean more or longer protection, when it just makes it more difficult to remove the excess. Kudos for learning to use a sealant sparingly either by hand or machine.

Ive waxed my car 4 times using my little 2oz pinnacle souveran sample.

I find I use the most product getting the pad primed. Once its primed though, just 2 or 3 drops are needed for a panel.

DA is the way to go! a PC is definitely worth the few $$$(especially in comparision to others on the market) even if u only use it on your own vehicles.
