was watching the UPS tracking info page with my order scheduled to be delivered today.
could hear the UPS truck running around the neighborhood.
wife getting frustrated with me for jumping and looking out the front door window every couple minutes... and walking out the door into the cold every other time...
anxious turned into horror as the site was refreshed to show the package had been delivered, but was not on my porch!
no door knock
no bell ring
no scuffing feet making their way to-from my home
PANIC! WORRY! I run out the front door and watch the street, waiting to spot the UPS truck and ask for my package.
I SEE THEM!! I run to the truck and stop the driver to ask the location of my package. His response, "i just left it at your front door."
"NO!" I say.. "you must have delivered it to the wrong address"
he turns the truck around and drives down the street, back to my home, to review the contents of his truck again...
and then it happened. I see hope in the form of a neighbor walking lost and packing a large box!
I ask if he is looking for the number of my house. sure enough! FOUND IT!!!!
all excited and relived now.
another good part was walking back into the house and telling my wife "HA! I knew something was wrong! I just knew it! They delivered it to the wrong house!"
she rolled her eyes and said "whatever".
unpacking pictures to come!!!
